So, we owe you "before and after" pictures of the floors. We'll get around to that eventually, right now we're just enjoying walking around on floors we actually enjoy. It was was a long two weeks but we got it done!!!!
Floors hasn't been the only thing on our minds. We've also been up to other shenanigans, we went all over Texas for Christmas, we had a fun New Years eve, and we've been going out on the weekends and having a great time. We've got two new foster puppies (I have no pictures of them... but I'll get some before they leave) which has been fun... and challenging.
Anyway... here is what we've been up to, in pictures:
It's always fun to start with a pretty picture of Madelyn. We took a walk around Town Lake and stopped at the dog park for some swimming and playing.

We went down to Gruene (pronounced Green) Texas for my uncles birthday party. Here is Madelyn in front of Texas' Oldest Dance Hall! Now, that's quite the landmark!
My uncle Michael, who lives in Australia (and now moving to England) was in town for his birthday so of course we all got together to celebrate! My grandma was telling me how she used to hold me in her lap when I was a kid, well, I decided to see if I could still fit....
For New Years we got a hotel room at a fancy new hotel and went out to dinner for our neighbor Mikes birthday. Here is Krista and Mike (our friends and neighbors)

The other night we went out for a night of country dancing... because, well, we live in Texas... and that's what you do.

We were tired by the end of the night... but we had a great time.
