New Kitchen!!

After a long couple weekend we finished the kitchen! We have become quite the home improvers... we did everything in this new kitchen except for the counter-top and sink installation.

Our list of things we completed:

Ripped out the old counter-tops, backsplash, old appliances, sink, etc.

Removed all the cabinet doors and repainted them a nice clean white. Re-installing the cabinet doors was SUPER difficult. Ugh.

Installed the duct work so our new microwave/range will vent outside not inside.

Installed the new microwave and cooktop

Installed the new backsplash (Madelyn did it all herself!)

Installed under cabinet lighting.

SXSW and other goings on.

(Dog obsession continues)

It's been busy these past two weeks... we had a 7 person band plus a couple wives/fiances staying in our tiny house and with their 4 shows, SXSW was go-go-go. I spent most of my time in conferences trying to make industry contacts.... but I was able to catch a few shows!

We had a great time at SXSW... but we've also been busy with other stuff. We had a nice b-day celebration for our friend Kelly, my sister was in town, and we threw a Rockband party.

It never stops around here!
