The other day we were in the car discussing something we both wanted to buy. Madelyn was explaining that making a rational decision about this item would be hard.....
M: "Ya, know.... Rosie Stu Pots".
C: "What!?!?.... Rosie Stu Pots!?!? Who is she?"
Through the uproar of laughter I finally said, "Oh, I think you mean.... "Seeing the world through Rose Colored Glasses."
Madelyn obviously knows this saying, but somehow the words "Rosie Stu Pots" came out. Somewhere in her head this expression was mixed up to create one of the funniest things ever spoken. Hilarious.
I don't think I'll ever use the expression "Rose Colored Glasses" again.... for now on its "Rosie Stu Pots"

I can just picture you perfectly- Laughing your head off- in Texas.
Rosy Stew Pot is a dish I used to make-- I got the recipe out of some magazine in about 1997 and it was really good, kind of a goulash thing. Anyway, I lost the recipe around 1999 and could never find it again, and ever since then my sisters have been bemoaning the missing ROSY STEW POT.
Mystery solved.
