We had a White Elephant where such gifts as a Destiny's Child framed poster, Olivia Newton John's "Let's get Physical" cassette tape, coloring books, and old cookbooks were given. I think we could all agree that the best part of the evening was when Jonathan busted out gifts for EVERYONE.... we all got gift cards to Torchy's Taco's.... the best tacos you've ever tasted. I think he's everyone's best friend today.
Somewhere along the line someone started taking pictures of people in their sweaters in cheesy poses... and eventually we were all getting into it. These are some of the funniest pictures I've seen....
This is me and Madelyn in our sweaters. Madelyn got bonus points for not only finding an ugly sweater, but hers was also Christmas themed.
Here is me and Jonathan's Christmas card. Tobi even added some special effects on the picture to give it a little something extra...

Madelyn and Lorena look like two teachers at a holiday party.

Here are the ladyies sporting their amazing sweaters...

Awesome post! That Santa is officially Nubbin because he only has one whole leg, one whole arm and two nubs!!! Not to toot my own horn, but I love the action shot when Madelyn won the contest.
I am so pleased to see that trophy on your mantel! Congratulations indeed.
Madelyn . . . love the sweater pictures! I have a question for you. My husband's parents want to come to Texas to visit and they have already been to Dallas and so we thought we would meet them in Austin. They would only be in town for 3 days . . . so if you had pick the most fun things to do in Austin (in February) in three days (site seeing, outdoors adventures, places to eat, places to go, nightlife)what would you do? I have no clue and so I want to get them excited about the trip.
What a fun idea! I am so glad that you have made such awesome friends in Austin!
So...no dog sweaters?
