Mid-Blog Blog (yes, that’s exactly how it sounds)

What is a mid-blog blog? It’s the blog that comes in-between two really good blog posts, just to keep the blog new and updated. This week Madelyn and I found an apartment! Hurray! Unfortunately it’s not ready until February 12^th……. Won’t that be a good blog post? Just imagine! Madelyn and I also went out to dinner this weekend to the fabulous and always classy Olive Garden (we had a gift card). “When my uncle comes to visit from Italy we always make sure to take him out to the Olive Garden!” Through my many visits to restaurants I have come to realization that if your chair has wheels on it than you won’t be paying more than 10 dollars a plate. Anyway, we went to dinner with our new friend, and Corby’s girlfriend, Heidi. What I found most interesting about our visit to the Olive Garden was the shopping center is was located in. There were two businesses next door to each other, one was called “Denver Mattress” the other was called “Austin Mattress”. I have a feeling Austin Mattress does better business. Dinner was a lot of fun, and it was nice to get out from the confines of the house. This week was quite the storm in Austin, and we stayed indoors a lot more than usual. It was cloudy for a week straight! Yuck. So it was a really nice Saturday, because the sun was out and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. It warmed up to about 60 degrees, and I was finally able to get the car washed. Sunday of course we watched football. Madelyn was willing to watch this week, because I told her it would be the last game of the season, besides the Super Bowl. I think she was cheering more for the conclusion of the football season, rather than the actual game.

Washing my car? Football? Could this blog get any more exciting?!?! Stay Tuned. In the meantime here is Madelyn with a giant remote control….
