Our Christmas was crazy. We started out with Christmas Eve in San Antonio, came back to Austin that night, drove to Dallas on Christmas Day to my grandma's house for lunch, then drove an hour across Dallas to my step-grandparents' house, then got back in the car to go back to my Grandma's for the night. We got up the day after Christmas, came back to Austin for 30 minutes to change our clothes and then we went back down to San Antonio for my uncle's engagement party. Needless to say... it was a lot of driving! But we got to see everyone in one swoop!
You would think with all the craziness I would have been snappin' pictures left and right... but I didn't. Because of the last minute change of plans to drive up to Dallas we had no choice but to take our dogs... and my Grandma was very nice to allow them to stay the night. The dogs had a pretty nice spread in the back of the car.

My sister was here for a few days and we got to hang out... should have taken more pictures, but here is a good one of her and Madelyn. Yes, the person on the left is my sister... even though we look nothing alike.

During the Christmas celebrations Madelyn and Cady teamed up on me with the Nerf guns my half brothers had gotten for Christmas... and my mom did what any mother would do... she video taped it:
While I'm waiting for this video to upload (it takes forever), I'll update you on some other happenings...
We started out our December with a nice evening with KISS. No, not a peck on the cheek... the band KISS! We were offered 10 dollar tickets and we were sold! Pyrotechnics, band members flying across the stadium, a guitar that fired rockets... I mean, for 10 dollars, we got our money's worth... even if we only knew 5 songs.
This picture is one in a million... it should be the cover of their next live album.

Jessica and Bobby gettin' their best rock on

Madelyn and I trying... and failing... at looking rock and roll.

Madelyn, Gene Simmons, and Jessica
We also threw in a Rockband party in December. We had some new friends who had never played so we threw it together... I was probably the best one we've had so far!
Oh.... and it snowed! In Austin! We were lucky enough to capture this phenomenon on video! It doesn't stick or anything, but it's fun to see!
