New dog run and people run.

Not much to report from the Austin home front. We chickened out of SXSW this year and only went to go see The Strokes. It was a great show that had a little too much pushing and shoving. After enduring the crowds at The Strokes we opted to stay home for the rest of SXSW.

We fought the crowds with our friends Kelly and Jacob.

In other news, we built a dog run. Long story short, we managed to kill 90% of the grass we planted three years ago. Instead of blaming ourselves, we blamed the dogs. So, we built them a nice dog run so they could stay off of the second round of new sod. We had never built anything from and idea before, but after a lot of measuring and frustration we completed a really good looking dog run. I don't know how happy the dogs are about their new smaller area of the yard... but they're just going to have to get used to it.

In accomplishment news, I finished my first ever 10k. For those of you who have finished marathons this probably doesn't seem like a major feat... but I was pretty happy about it. I finished in 53:08.

That's all for now!
